Established in 1995, Precision Placement Services, Inc. is an executive search firm committed to providing independent exploration and production companies with the highest quality placement services in the areas of engineering, land, geology, government & regulatory affairs, environmental health & safety, accounting/finance, marketing/transportation, conventional and unconventional resources, etc.

Our database ranks amongst the largest in the industry. Our candidates come to us locally and nationally through referral and targeted recruiting campaigns - not through advertising or resume sites. FOUNDER AND PRESIDENT

Jacques Pernitz has been president of Precision Placement Services, Inc.
since its inception in 1995. He has a passion for recruiting and a knack for identifying, screening and placing talent. He believes that most candidates will move given the right opportunity. The key, he says, is listening carefully to their wants and needs. The fact that a potential candidate isn't looking for a new position is irrelevant once the right opportunity presents itself.

During the 1990's, Pernitz built PPS into one of the leaders in information technology recruiting. After the technology bust in 2001, he revamped the company, focusing on the oil and gas industry. Today, his name is synonymous with oil and gas recruiting. He believes in building relationships only with candidates that he would hire and with companies he would work for.
